I'd written about my wish of being able to change the language of jogger's administration panel. Suddenly I noticed it IS in English! Everything translated. I followed a link. Polish again.

I still have a tab with the English version open. Still haven't figured out how to get there again, too.

Was someone changing the code? Or rather was it a random error?

It's really good to know an English version exists. It would be much better to know how to turn it on, though =)
Hope I'll find out... somehow

Copied from my first blog.

I've managed to reject all thoughts about creating a blog. Until now. Logorrhea has finally won the battle against free time ;) Partially because I've been ill for nearly a week and partially because I can't stand without sharing a story with a potentially wider audience (will anyone ever read it? :D)

All right, let's go with the story. After a few weeks long part search, in late September I've managed to build a new computer for my parents. For those curious (or techy) ones:

I don't have idea why I have written this all (especially found the addresses). Well, maybe it'll turn out to be useful... somehow...

Nevertheless, the computer (called Radzim) had worked for two days and I concentrated on making another one for a friend of mine. I spent more than a week on it (installing PLD on SATA without basic knowledge of the system).

I turned Radzim on. Wrong. I tried to do so. The power supply unit attepted to start. clack. attepted to start. clack. attepted to start. clack. After a few trials I was seriously concerned something went very bad and burned down, especially that I had overclocked the CPU by 20% (had been working really stable, though). I hoped it was only the PSU. I powered Radzin from another one. After a prayer it miraculously started. I switched back to the previous PSU. Worked. Until I turned it off. Attempts to turn it on again gave hopeless effects. Pressing the switch resulted only in a tweet of PSU only I could hear.

After days (weeks?) my dad took Radzim to a professionalist. He was replacing components one by one, until it worked after changing the processor. Being curious he inserted the original one again. It kept on working well. For some time only. So: the motherboard must be faulty. We ordered a new one. The guy mounted everything with it and Radzim worked long enough to take him from the workshop to my house. No longer. Today dad took Radzim to his office, where he met the guy. Together they made the discovery:

The computer can't stand!

The motherboard is so weak, that the heavy radiator bends it so strongly, it can't even start. Radzim can work only when lying (horizontally). A lazy being, really :D

We're thinking about a wire to attach the radiator directly to the case...

After one day on wordpress.com, hearing that on Jogger.pl I can change the display of dates, links, etc. to English, I've moved.

Some things will probably stay in Polish until I'll make my own theme. The Polish editing interface distrupts me a bit, I hope it can be changed with Jogger.pl 2 =)

Why am I writing in English? Probably all the audience in the next months, if any, will be Polish. Well, I just want to practice English =D and maybe someone will be able to read it because of that :)
